The Elcor UST ALR PET Crystal Fixed Frame Screen is engineered exclusively for ultra short throw (UST) projectors placed directly below the screen. The ALR PET Crystal material uses a multi-layer optical structure — a micro-lenticular lens layer bonded to a black base — to accept light from the UST projector positioned at the bottom while simultaneously blocking overhead ceiling light and side ambient light.
ALR PET Crystal Material Technology
The PET Crystal surface is a high-clarity, rigid-feel optical film. Its lens microstructure is precision engineered to accept light only within a narrow downward projection angle, rejecting all other light sources. The result is a vivid, cinema-bright image even with all room lights on — a performance level impossible to achieve with standard matte white or grey materials.
Tab-Tensioned Flat Surface
Unlike rolled PVC materials, the PET Crystal film is applied over a tab-tensioned aluminium frame with consistent edge tension across all four sides. This ensures a perfectly flat, zero-wave projection surface that is critical for the optical accuracy of the micro-lenticular lens layer. Any wave or ripple would cause visible image distortion with UST projectors.
Important Compatibility Note
This screen is designed exclusively for UST projectors placed on a table below and in front of the screen. It is NOT compatible with standard throw, short throw, or ceiling-mounted projectors. Using an incompatible projector will result in a very dim or washed-out image.
Available in 100 and 120 inches diagonal in 16:9 format.
