The Elcor Custom Shape & Material Screen is Elcors most specialised offering — a fully bespoke projection screen solution for installations where neither standard dimensions nor standard shapes will suffice. From curved cinemascope screens to circular dome screens, auditorium cyclorama backgrounds, and unique architectural installations, the Elcor manufacturing team builds to your exact specification.
Custom Shapes Available
- Curved Frame — Concave curved screens for cinemascope home theatres. The curve wraps the image around the viewer for a more immersive experience. Available in standard 2.35:1 and custom curvatures. Hi-gain material recommended.
- Circular / Dome — Round or dome-shaped screens for planetarium, simulation, or decorative projection installations. Custom GI pipe frameworks built to spec.
- Cyclorama / Auditorium Screen — Large-format flat or curved background screens for auditoriums, theatres, and studios. Available in PVC cloth, perforated and non-perforated. Stretched over custom GI pipe frames. Standard white or grey finish.
- Eyelets / Masking — Flat screens with eyelets along all edges for suspension or tensioning from any structure. Suitable for fast-fold, rental and event use.
Material Options for Custom Shapes
- ALR / CLR Fresnel (0.6–0.9 gain) — Ceiling light rejecting for bright rooms. Ideal for UST projectors on curved or flat custom frames.
- Perforated Acoustic PVC (1.0 gain) — Behind-screen audio pass-through. Used in custom auditorium installs.
- Silver 3D (2.5 gain) — High-contrast, ideal for curved cinemascope home theatre.
- Matte White / Matte Grey (1.0–1.1 gain) — Versatile, suitable for any shape or environment.
