The Starling Tab-Tension CineGrey 4D AT is the only electric motorised screen that combines acoustically transparent material with ambient light rejecting (ALR/CLR) technology — making it the ideal choice for living rooms and media rooms where controlling both sound and light is essential. CineGrey 4D AT Material — Two Technologies in One The CineGrey 4D AT surface uses a multi-layer matrix of reflective and absorbent micro-particles that work directionally. It rejects up to 63% of ceiling and off-axis ambient light while delivering a 1.1 gain image — brighter and more contrasty than a standard matte white screen under the same lighting conditions. At the same time, the material 0.55 mm perforations allow in-wall or behind-screen speakers to project sound through with minimal attenuation. All four black masking borders are also perforated for complete acoustic transparency edge to edge. Tab-Tensioned Motorised Operation The tubular motor drops and raises the screen smoothly and silently at the press of a button. Tab-tensioning holds the screen surface perfectly flat and taut at every drop position — eliminating waves and rippling that affect standard roll-down screens. The elegant white housing installs flush to wall or ceiling using the included floating brackets, which slide horizontally for precise wood stud alignment. Full Control Package Includes IR and RF handheld remote controls, wall box controller, and a 12V trigger port for synchronising screen drop with your projector power cycle. Programmable vertical stop position ensures accurate drop to the same position every time. For standard / long throw projectors only.
