Its micro-serriform optical surface structure absorbs and rejects up to 90% of overhead ceiling light, eliminating the washed-out image problem that plagues standard matte white screens in lit rooms. Why CLR® 3 Outperforms Standard Screens The CLR® 3 material provides contrast levels 75 times greater than conventional matte white projection screens. The serriform (sawtooth) microstructure works directionally — it accepts light from the UST projector positioned below and in front, while simultaneously absorbing overhead ambient light from ceiling fixtures. EDGE FREE® Design Unlike traditional bordered screens, the Aeon EDGE FREE® design uses an internal aluminium framework with the material wrapping around the frame edges.
