The Aeon CineWhite A8K is the flagship acoustically transparent fixed frame projector screen from Elcor Screens. It combines an EDGE FREE® frameless design with the ultra-fine CineWhite A8K multi-layer knitted fabric — delivering both exceptional picture quality and true audio transparency for dedicated home theatre setups. CineWhite A8K Material The 8K fabric uses an ultra-fine knitted weave specifically engineered for 4K and 8K projectors. The tight micro-perforations allow sound to pass through with a measured attenuation of just −2.96 dB from 8 kHz to 20,000 Hz — virtually no audible difference compared to open air. A bonded black backing eliminates light bleed and back-lighting reflection, preserving deep black levels. ISF certified for reference-grade colour accuracy with a neutral colour temperature and flat spectral response — no colour cast regardless of projector brightness changes. EDGE FREE® Design The aluminium split frame assembles without tools. Screen material is tensioned around the frame using springs for a perfectly flat, ripple-free surface. The ultra-thin black aluminium bezel trim gives the appearance of a large-format flat panel TV on your wall. Sliding wall brackets allow precise horizontal centering and support wood stud installation. Speaker Placement In-wall or bookshelf speakers can be positioned directly behind the screen — maintain at least 1 inch of clearance between speaker and material. The screen is compatible with standard, short throw, and ultra-short throw projectors. Best suited for light-controlled rooms.
